Splash Valley Aquatic Park offers a fun escape from the summer heat! Amenities include 2 closed body/tube slides, a 1 ½ open body/ tube slide, an under 48-inch Children’s Character Slide in zero depth water, water troughs, a fully stocked concession stand, 2 sand volleyball courts and ample parking.

The Kankakee Valley Park District exists to acquire, develop and maintain parks; promote the conservation of natural and historical resources, and provide recreational facilities, programs, and services for the benefit of all District residents.

Established in 1925, The District serves the 36,000 residents of Aroma Park and Kankakee Townships. It is governed by five elected Park Board of Commissioners, and employs 10 full-time staff and approximately 70 part-time, seasonal, and temporary workers.
